I cannot believe the sound I got after wiring them into my maple neck/alder body strat. I never expected to obtain the Strat twang as I thought that they would just be overwound to give more power. How wrong I was. I use a treble bleed circuit so when I turnd down the guitars volume I retain the highs. This works great with these pups. With the guitars volume turned down to about 7 these pups sparkle like the best strat you've played, turn up tp 10 and the extra power makes the notes gel together with power and clarity.<br />For my personal taste I required a bit more umph from the bridge pickup so Ben is building me a slightly overwound unit at a price you can't beat. These pickups will be keepers.John Campbellhttp://www.areyou-experienced.comnoreply@blogger.com
